What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and how to get at it. Written in plain English, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.

Abseil Pro is a rope access, height safety and facade maintenance company based in Brisbane. The business is The Trustee for Abseil.Pro Trust, ABN 99 422 738 977, trading as Abseil Pro, at 6/57 Karthina Street, Bulimba QLD 4171.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of our work, what we do with it, and how you can get at it or correct it. If you have a question about any of it, email [email protected] or call 1800 575 074.
The information we hold depends on how you deal with us. It can include:
Your name, email address, phone number and the address of the building
Your unit or apartment number, where you book a resident balcony clean
Notes you give us about the job, and photographs of the work
Booking and payment records, including what you paid and when
Enquiries, quotes and the emails between us
Job applications and anything in them, if you apply to work with us
Information about how you use this website, collected through Google Analytics
Most of it you give us directly: through a form on this website, through the resident balcony booking, or by emailing or calling us. Some of it we record while doing the work, such as photographs of a balcony before and after a clean. Information about how the website is used is collected automatically through cookies when you visit.
We use personal information to do the things you would expect us to do with it:
Quote, book, schedule and carry out the work
Send you booking confirmations, reminders and a cleaning schedule
Invoice you and take payment
Answer your questions and deal with any concern you raise about a job
Keep the records we are required to keep, including tax and work health and safety records
Understand how the website is used, so we can improve it
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We use three outside services that handle it on our behalf:
Stripe, which runs the payment page when you book a resident balcony clean
Google, which provides our email, our documents and spreadsheets, and the analytics and advertising tools on this website
Make.com, which moves a completed balcony booking from Stripe into our booking spreadsheet
Those three providers store and process information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States and in Europe. We use them because they are the services that run our payments, our email and our booking records. If you would rather not have your details go through the website at all, call us on 1800 575 074 and we will take the booking by phone.
When you pay for a balcony clean, the payment page is hosted by Stripe, not by us. Your card number is entered on Stripe's page and never reaches our website or our systems. We receive the amount, the payment reference and the details you typed into the booking form, so we know who booked and which balcony to clean.
GST is included in every price shown on this website.
This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Where we advertise, Google Ads uses the same measurement to tell us whether an ad led to an enquiry. Both work through cookies set in your browser.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on Google publishes for that purpose. The website works either way.
We keep personal information for seven years. That matches how long we are required to keep financial and work records, and it means we can still answer a question about a job years after we did it. After that it is deleted.
Access is limited to the people in the business who need it to do their job, and our accounts are protected by passwords and access controls. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe, so there are no card numbers in our systems to protect. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you if something happens that puts your information at risk.
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email [email protected] and tell us what you need. We will come back to you within a reasonable time, usually a few business days, and we do not charge for it.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, tell us first and we will try to sort it out. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
We keep applications, resumes and interview notes so we can consider you for the role you applied for and for anything else that comes up. We do not share them outside the business.
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. This policy was last updated on 26 September 2026.
