Abseil Pro is a Brisbane rope access and height safety company. We have been maintaining high rise buildings here since 2017, and the people who quote your job are the people who turn up to do it.
Our story
Abseil Pro has been looking after Brisbane's high rise buildings since 2017. Jindy Debney started it, still runs it, and still gets on the ropes. He is IRATA Level 3, a qualified arborist and painter, and SafetyLink height safety installer trained.
Ropes are usually the simplest way in, and for most work the cheapest. No scaffold, no lift in the driveway for a fortnight, no balconies out of use, and we reach the parts of a building nothing else gets to.
That mix is the whole idea. Most access companies do one thing and subcontract the rest. Ours are multi-trade, so the crew that cleans your windows can also trim the vertical garden, patch the render, touch up the paintwork and check the anchor points, on the same ropes in the same visit. We already know the building, and three jobs take one mobilisation instead of three.
Six IRATA certified technicians work alongside Jindy, so nobody is a scheduling bottleneck. All of them are employees, trained and promoted internally, which is why the same crew comes back and already knows your building.
Everything gets documented: photos before, during and after, a daily report while we are on site, and a free photo inspection covering anything we saw on the facade. Something a committee can put in front of a meeting.
We work on buildings up to about 50 storeys, and the sweet spot is 10 to 20 storey body corporate apartments. That is deliberate. The relationship runs both ways: you get the same faces back year after year, and we get to know the building and the people running it. On a tower you are a line on a schedule at both ends.

Meet the team
Nine of us, all Brisbane based. Everyone listed here is an employee, not a subcontractor, which is why the same faces come back every visit.
Founder and Director
Jindy started Abseil Pro in 2017 and still runs it from site as much as the office. IRATA Level 3, with trade tickets in arboriculture and painting and SafetyLink height safety installer training, which is where the multi-trade idea behind the company came from.
Accounts and Admin Manager
Nelly runs the office side: the books, the banking, the scheduling and most of what arrives at [email protected]. If you have had a quote, an invoice or a booking confirmation from us, Nelly is usually the one behind it.
Project Manager
Leigh came up through the crew and was promoted into project management, which is the path we try to offer everyone. IRATA Level 3 and horticulturist, and the person most likely to be coordinating your job from start to finish. Outside work he is a runner, a drummer, and a dad to newborn twins.
Level 3 Technician and Team Leader
Locky leads crews on site and mentors the Level 1 and 2 technicians coming through. IRATA Level 3. He is a dad, and the one keeping the crew laughing on a long drop.
Senior Rope Access Technician
Dave is the most experienced head on the ropes and the one the newer techs watch. IRATA Level 3 with 20 years on the ropes, the crew call him the grey ropie, which he has earned.
Rope Access Technician
Laura is IRATA Level 2 and working through a pathway toward job manager. Outside work she is a skydiver and into climbing, yoga and staying fit, which is fairly standard around here.
Assistant Job Manager
Andy is IRATA Level 2 and splits his time between site work and keeping jobs moving from the office. He is usually the one answering the phone when Nelly is not. He enjoys highlining and climbing on the weekends.
Rope Access Technician
Julio is IRATA Level 2 and joined the crew in 2026. He works across window cleaning, facade washing and the vertical gardens.
HR and Client Support
Bambi looks after HR and client support, so she keeps the crew paperwork current and clients updated on where their job is up to.
